A new spreadsheet displaying the active Sheet1 appears on the screen with cell A1 as the active cell. The shortcut to
open a new Calc document with a default blank spreadsheet is Ctrl + N.
3.7 CLOSING A WORKBOOK AND EXITING FROM CALC
Perform the following steps to close a workbook and exit from Calc:
Step 1: Select File Close option from the menu bar. The current workbook will close.
Step 2: Select File Exit LibreOffice option from the menu bar. The LibreOffice Calc window will exit.
3.8 OPENING AN EXISTING SPREADSHEET
To open an existing spreadsheet, follow the given steps:
Step 1: Click on the File menu from Menu bar.
Step 2: Select the Open option from the drop-down menu.
OR
Click on the Open button on the Standard toolbar.
